1.
I went to the doctor for sake of my health I was long past the point of diagnosing myself She prescribed me some tablets to make me feel well Said to get some fresh air and lay low for a while When I spoke to my dad he wasn't sure what to say Just gave me some money, offered somewhere to stay I spent the money on things to chase the sorrow away And learnt no amount of money keeps sorrow at bay Why should I look after my heart If it's already broken? Face up to the pain that's been there from the start You must be joking? I tried to change how I was living but my efforts were in vain I was constantly looking for someone to blame Futile were my efforts to reignite the flame Because for lack of a spark it didn't burn the same

Stasis 04:43
Stasis, twiddling thumbs, I've become faceless Because all that I've done is get wasted I wasted my youth on the basis That somehow I'd just get through Paycheck when will you come to me Paycheck, I have got mouths to feed ASAP There's lifelines and time needing paid back And I'm running out of line. Where are you when I need someone to blame? The casual love's the most torturous game. You turn to me I run Saying oh no it's happening again Stages that I've been going through for ages I can't seem to settle for basics In my life I have so often tasted Better than this.
